7.4.1 Purposes
This section is adopted for the purpose of regulating land-disturbing
activities in order to control accelerated
erosion and sedimentation and
accordingly to prevent water pollution from sedimentation,
to prevent accelerated
erosion and sedimentation of
lakes and natural watercourses, and to prevent damage to public and
private property by
sedimentation during
and after construction.
