9.3  Permitted Signs: Location, Size, Number Up   

9.3.1  Table of Permitted Signs

Signs shall be permitted in accordance with Table 9.3-1, subject also to the provisions of any Uniform Sign Plan applicable to the site, subject to the conditions attached to Table 9.3-1 by reference number, and subject to the height limits shown in Table 9.3-2.  The character ü in the row for a sign and in the column for a particular group of zoning districts shall indicate that the sign is allowed in that district without a permit; the same character followed by the letter S (“üS”) in the row for a sign and in the column for a particular group of zoning districts shall indicate that the sign is allowed in those districts only upon issuance of a sign permit; and “--" in any cell indicates that the type of sign indicated is not allowed in that group of districts under any circumstances; a number in the “Conditions” column for a particular type of sign shall refer to the same-numbered “Condition” on the following pages, which shall apply to that sign in accordance with its terms.
