Agendas & Minutes
The Cary Town Council typically meets the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 6:30 p.m. The agenda is placed on the Web the Friday before the meeting, and minutes of the previous meeting are also available then. The action agenda, an abbreviated form of the minutes, is placed online the day after the meeting. Minutes are official after the council approves them.
The council has two ongoing committees of three members each. The Operations Committee handles financial, human resources and public safety issues. Current members include: Council Member Jack Smith, chair, and Mayor Pro Tem Julie Robison and Council Member Jennifer Robinson. The Planning and Development Committee handles planning and development related issues. Current members include Council Member Gale Adcock, chair, and Council Members Don Frantz and Erv Portman. Both committees make recommendations that are referred to the full Town Council for final councilaction. Check the calendar for meeting dates.
